A themed literary happening on literary health, writing and the body / mind, health and its affections in or due to literature or art in general.

This event will present speakers from a multitude of backgrounds and disciplines, from staff and students of Kingston University to local writers and visiting speakers. Their responses to the theme will be positively various and can include new readings of fiction and poetry alongside experimental or theatrical performance, speeches, talks, recitals and everything in between, excluding academic lectures.

Each presentation will be short, under ten minutes in duration, and together, they will create a dynamic experience, full of ideas that intermingle and engage.

James Reynolds is a writer and academic who mainly writes for and about theatre. Recent plays and poetry have been presented at Theatre503 and Rich Mix. His co-edited book, Howard Barker's Theatre: Wrestling with Catastrophe, was shortlisted for the Society for Theatre Research book prize in 2015.
